I could see Les wanting the State job.. We have a solid turf grass management program.

Well he certainly loves having his agent put his name out there

He will be gone after losing to the Rebs 3 straight years. 4 in the last 5.

Would you keep him after losing 3 in a row?

I mean has a coach ever said "I'm leaving as soon as a better job opens up that will hire me."

Personally I put very little stock in these statements made by coaches.

He should've left for greener pastures after Dak did. It's all downhill from here.

He didn't leave when he was one of the hot names going around, I think it's safe to assume he's a lifer at State unless he gets fired.

Same seems to be true of Freeze.

ETA: I actually admire this. Coaches jumping ship every 4-5 years is frustrating to me, as a fan.

Yeah not sure what other offers he had potentially after last season, but it's not going to get any better at State than it did in 2014.

I'd like Dan to stay as long as possible. 0-7 vs Bama

What the hell is he supposed to say? "My intentions are to get the hell outta here at the first opportunity."?

Would you keep him if he lost 4 in a row?

My fandom is different from other dawgs. I understand our past and our place in the SEC. People are calling for Mullen to be fired after a 9 win season. 9 wins. Mississippi State. I'm happy going bowling. If Mullen can consistently win 6+ games every year, I don't ever want him to leave. Ole Miss is just another game on the schedule.

How about 4 or 5 in a row. Only the death penalty can prevent this now.

It will be fitting when CDM is fired for losing to the team he would never lose to again.

This moment seems so long ago
