Not really significant. He is trying to take some positives from the game, and despite the score, there were a few for MSU. Nothing to see here, really.

Well, he's right. Dak is a great QB and was going to get his yards. We played a bend but don't break with a heavy pass rush. It worked really well.
Their defensive strategy was to stop Henry at all cost sticking 9-10 guys in the box. It worked great most of the time but when Henry did get through their front line their was no one behind them. Bama would never run that kind of defense but we don't have to either. The end results speak to the effectiveness of each strategy.

He's got a point on some things. MSU did play pretty good.
What gets me is people actually thought they would win.
Playing well means They got some yards, forced some punts and kept it within 3 or 4 TD's. MSU is not in our league. What is he 0-8? you will find similar records for all MSU coaches except Sherrill who was another that benefited from probation at Bama and he still lost more than he won. I just wish Mullen would stop with the I'm building us into a national brand. That will never happen at State. Baseball, they were for a moment but football isn't going to be more than just competitive at times. Don't have the resources.

Yeah they are in our league, technically. Figuratively, no one is in our league. But, Mullen has built a very solid program in a VERY tough place to do it, the SECW. They were picked last and will probably finish well above AU anyway .
