It's a good thing AU has been in this situation before. For some reason, I don't expect MSU to rise to the occasion.

Gameday has no effect on how a team will play

Remember Florida State and Clemson last year

Gameday is usually bad for the home team.

What occasion? It's a game. Just like every year.

This is the stupidest logic I've ever seen in my life.

MSU/AU usually open up conference play against each other, MSU is almost never ranked when the game is played, and MSU sure as hell wasn't catapulted into the top 5 with all eyes on Starkville for the game.

Like I said, MSU hasn't been in this situation before, AU has. That puts MSU at a disadvantage, seeing as Malzahn knows how to handle expectations.

The sad part of all this is once you all gain some actual recognition the cowbells will HAVE to go. No one cared before, but it's not a legal tradition and there's no way it will continue if y'all stay playing this well. Someone, somewhere is going to bitch about it loudly enough.

Strange irony.

MSU has never been in this position before. This is just another game for Auburn. Auburn wins

I like how this is playing out. Auburn will not be caught looking ahead, Auburn will have a lot of folks in Starkvegas
