Mississippi State is currently the only team in the NCAA in the Top 10 for both scoring offense (#9) and scoring defense (#6). Georgia is #67 in scoring offense and #21 in scoring defense.

MSU is #6 in the NCAA in scoring margin at 33 points per game and Georgia is #39 at 11 points per game.

Sagarin rates MSU's strength of schedule to date as #54 and Georgia as #52.

You can only play who is on your schedule.

But...MSU has never beaten a #67 scoring offense team on the road in September, in a night game. I'll stick with the real Dawgs taking a knee in the 4th.

They don't count Samford. 21+1=22, 22/2=11

LSU sucks so naturally MSU will win every game left on their schedule. Sounds legit.

You guys should beat us by 3 TD's, then.

They might. I doubt they win by 30, though.

what does LSU have to do with MSU vs. UGA?

I just think MSU is going to win, having watched both teams

MSU is really good this year. Anything less than 10 wins would be a failure of a season considering how strong their team is. Next year should be even better. If they don't win the SEC next year they likely never will.

I'd be fine with 9 this year, though I expect 10 from splitting UGA/AU, losing to Bama, and winning the rest.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic about next year's odds, but what you said is true. We get back the vast majority of our contributors, will have a senior QB, and another year in the Grantham defensive scheme. It really will be better than this year's team, who actually looks pretty great so far.

That must be it. I got the scoring margin from a different site and they only count games between FBS schools.

Counting Samford, UGA's scoring margin is 17.6, and counting Charleston Southern, MSU's scoring margin is 38.3.

Yep. La Tech ran for 240 on vaunted MSU. I think UGA backs can match their rushing prowess.
