Tends to happen when you have 6-7 DB's on the field and a 40 point lead.

I've been looking for the full game online somewhere for 2 days now, can't find anything. All I see is that ridiculous fumble play and the Int by Amik Robertson that helped LA Tech get an early 9-0 lead.

Might want to try a different subject, we have no room to talk about rushing or defending it. We don't have the word in either play book. On offense it's called QB is tired so you hold it and fall down. On D it's called throw your hands in the air.

Last week LSU gave up 174 yards passing to MSU's 4th string QB from last season. Ponder that a moment.

To summarize, State's starting defense allowed a total of 2 field goals for the game. Starters, for the most part, started being removed after we went up 50-14 early in the 3rd quarter. 70 yards rushing came on Tech's last possession of the game with a minute left.

4th string QB with D-2 talent playing with him, I'd say yeah.

It was -87 and the answer is no. Officially La Tech had 152 yards rushing with a -87 yard team rush included. La Tech had 163 passing yards. 315 yards for the game despite having the ball for 36 minutes compared to 24 minutes for MSU with 459 yards. The entire 4th quarter MSU had 3rd and 4th string guys playing and most of the 2nd half it was 2nd and 3rd string. Mullen also intentionally took a turnover on downs late in the game when we were within chip shot range. La Tech averaged 515 yards a game last year and was 2nd in the country in passing.

Eleven of the first half 14 points for La Tech were the result of mistakes by MSU's offense (turnover and blocked extra point returned for 2 point score) and the worst call ever to give La Tech time to kick a bullshite FG with 2 second left in the half. (clock went to zero but official put 3 seconds back thus allowing enough time to spike the ball after the offense was able to set itself during the review).

So pretty much La Tech got their asses worked and it coulda been a whole lot uglier than the final scoreline showed.

I hope you aren't hanging your hat on that.
BYU had -5 rushing yards
Chattanooga had 68 rushing yards

When you can't run, you are forced to throw the ball. 174 yards passing is not exactly lighting it up.
