First, your preseason Grind is very dissapointing this offseason. Step up your game would ya? It seems like you guys don't even exist aroung here anymore.
Second, just wanted to get your thoughts on Collins. Hopefully, the whole divorce thing has worn off. Just wanted some subjective feedback.
From what I gather his Ds were stout in the Redzone, but he tended to give up a lot of big plays. Also, he seemed to do a lot of switching out of staters for less experienced and or skilled guys. Not sure if his scheme had issues or he was just too liberal with subing players.
My opionon..... I'm just not sold on him. He seems kind of gimmicky, swag chalise, and other weird things going on. Not sure if those are a cover to a lack of coaching ability or he just likes to relate to his guys for recruiting etc.
Anyway,I do feel good with Randy Shannon on D. If Collins turns out to be a dud, Shannon would be a great candidate for the future.

Collins: I was happy he left. The old 1A / 1B bullshite had worn me out.
In general though, he does a pretty good job with the D. He just needs the HC to ride him a bit harder on some of the stupid stuff that he does.

Collins is ok. Had a very bend but don't break defense. Tended to give up big plays. I think Diaz is an upgrade over Collins.
Not sure what happened between Mullen and Collins but I felt like him leaving right before the bowl game was kind of a dick move.

They know they're going back to their rightful place in one of the bottom two spots in the West this year... Trying to hedge against future shite talking by the fans of schools that will inevitably push in their shite this year.

He was here for 3 years and it was the longest he had stayed at any school single like '91 or some shite like that. He just moves around a lot I think.
