I've seen Mullen's name tossed around for the Michigan job, but haven't paid too much attention to any other coaching changes other than AU's. Is he in serious consideration for it?

I think he's gotta take the job if offered. Michigan absolutely could get him if they want him. But I think Michigan is too busy smelling their own farts while waiting for Jim Harbaugh to call them back.

Michigan isn't really going for Harbaugh. You're talking about a school that went and hired the coach from San Diego State last time. They aren't dipping into the NFL or even the SEC.

Couple of articles have made the point that Michigan is a MUCH easier route to the CFP - the B1G ain't the SEC and a coach like Mullen could do really well in that environment.

Funny how last year Mullen was garbage according to this board...now he is being mentioned for these big jobs and people could see it happening.

You mean -- the source on all of this -- based on "unnamed sources" on the Michigan side that state "Michigan MAY want Mullen and MAY talk to their BOT about it" or are "otherwise more open to the idea than they were last week" -- that hasn't spoken with ANYONE on the Mississippi State side -- and "speculates" on Mullen's thought process without actually talking to ANYONE close to Mullen is ALL on the basis of an Ole Miss alum? Consequently, cleverly worded and written when one of our biggest recruiting battles against them is on campus OV at MSU and signs in a couple days at a huge position of need?
Let me know when a source that isn't a Roussel confirms any part of Mullen being interested in Michigan. Thusfar, both Michigan's 24/7 and Scout sites have called bullshite...
