MSU brought one fanbase out of denial about their clown of a HC last weekend

I believe they will do it again this weekend. Or maybe not. The delusion is strong in Athens.

I don't understand this thread. I haven't seen any delusional UGA fans. Most I've seen are posting "guess we'll find out this week" type statements.

I think Kirby is building a good program, and I don't think MSU will win this weekend. They're not good enough to come off an emotional win and do it again the next week.

Eh, we weren't really happy with the hire from the start, but he is our coach and rooting for him to succeed is better than going through life like a miserable shite.

I'll translate -

"I really hope MSU solidifies my thoughts that UGA fans are delusional and not correct about the talent of the Georgia team because if UGA whoops auburn yet AGAIN I'm probably going to joint suicide with auburnphan"

I think State will be motivated because of Grantham and Fitz being from Richmond Hill.

They did it three weeks in a row in 2014.

I guess we'll find out how good this year's team is, because they're in the middle of another three-game gauntlet right now.

IDK man, I think they've been (as a whole) very modest so far this year.

Damn right. I was so embarrassed to lose to your shitty program and coach last year, that I have kept the sig (even when I could have deleted it after the one week bet was up).

So far I think you're probably right.

I hear suggestions that Kirby is the next big thing, and I see no evidence of that. But most UGA fans don't seem to be jumping to that conclusion.

If anything, I think the whole conference, including UGA fans, see themselves as a competitor for the SEC title by default at the moment. Not to say they're not good in their own right, but right now potential foes seem to be slipping away, taking away some of the pressure on UGA.

No they haven't been modest. Most of them thought they won the Super Bowl or national championship after a one point victory over a 4-8 team from last year

Exactly. You'd think that they had beat Bama or something.

You're agreeing with auburnphan.

How are you not self aware enough to take a step back and realize what team you've backed yourself onto?
