What is your predictions for the series? It's being played at DNF. I'm going to stick with my original thought . State wins the series 2 to 1

If we play like we are capable of, Ole Miss possibly sweeps. That probably won't happen though so State 2-1

I think we take Friday cause Hudson is the fricking man. Saturday I give us the edge cause it's at home. Sunday is all Rebs cause we don't have a day 3 guy for the mound yet.

I won't predict a winner because of the rivalry factor and both squads are talented enough that it could go either way. I will predict that Subday will be a high scoring affair.
ETA: Sunday* but given how much we dig into the bullpen, subday seems appropriate.

I am not sure if Ole Miss really has a #3 guy either. Sunday will probably be a high scoring affair.

Hudson on the mound for msu outclasses anything ole miss can throw against him. the best way to neutralize that advantage would be to throw our sunday guy against Hudson and concede game 1, pitch bramlett on Saturday against sexton which is a coin flip, and pitch chad on sunday which give the rebels a decided advantage. ole miss could win this series with this scenario....

I cant envision any scenario which ole miss takes game 1. Hudson threw 130 pitches a week or so ago, and the 129th pitch was 96 mph...he is a machine.

I'm not saying Ole Miss roughs him up for 7 and he doesn't make it to the 5th. Obviously, he's very good. 1.13 ERA, goes almost 7 IP a start, etc, but he's human. He's had 6 starts and only 3 Ws on his record. It is just a random guess on my part. Don't think about it too hard.
