I would have to hear it from the coach to believe it.

I'd need to hear from the school board that Dan Mullen has the authority to fire high school coaches in the state to believe it.

Judging by the lack of punctuation in his text, the SHS English teacher should be fired, instead.

I think they should give Dan this power.

That's a nice way of him saying he's slowly changing his mind about playing for Ole Miss

Why didn't the coach get fired for him committing to Ole Miss?

Why would it matter now if the kid is already committed?

Yeah I don't see how any of this is true. If they had the power to just fire someone for these reasons I am sure they would have done it after AJ Brown.

I think either Willie is lying for some reason or someone is lying to Willie.

Or, perhaps, quickly changing his mind.

Sounds to me like we're just delaying the inevitable. If we're planning on firing a coach, that we can't fire, for a player attending an OM camp, surely we'll fire him when he enrolls.

He probably found out that Big Dawg Camp has free cotton candy and decided to come up with this excuse to skip the camp at Ole Miss.

He's either looking for an excuse not to attend, or whoever told him this is hoping they can threaten a HS kid with some bullshot and he'll believe it.

How could MSU fire a HS coach? Do they think they are the REC or something?

Willie is sticking with the story. Told one our rivals guys that his coach was told not to take him to Oxford.

So an Ole Miss commit is allegedly being told by Mississippi State that if he visits the school where he is committed then they will have his high school coach fired?

Yancy lives in fantasy land if he actually believe that to be true.

There's a screencap of the message. Doubt he would doctor that up. Willie might call him on some shite like that.

It happened, but like I said - either he's wavering or he's being bullied with an empty threat.
