USA has a runningback in Blanchard who will run all over that D, in fact according to experts here, he was more worthy of a roster spot than Alex Collins and JWill who are both playing on Sunday this year.

You were warned bulldogs.

State went 3 and out their first offensive drive. USA came to play.

State's QBs will have a bad time this year. It's hard to transition from your school's best QB ever. #spurlock

USA is filled with players who in any other year would have had LSU offers, sucks their position was so loaded in their class that year.

The big reason that Southern Miss isn't a power anymore is because of USA and Louisiana Lafayette taking all of the recruits that used to go to USM if they didn't get into Ole Miss, State or LSU.

He looked good on that option run but every pass he has thrown has been wobbly as hell.

Jeff Bower? Yeah that's the main reason I hate him but after they fired him, they hired Fedora. Then Fedora left to go to North Carolina the year after they won the C-USA and won 11 games. Then they hired Ellis Johnson, who destroyed their program.

If Fitz doesn't provide a spark on the next drive, they need to put Williams in. Williams seems more like a leader than Fitz does. But that's just me.

Yes Bower, he was perfect for them and they wouldn't have these lows, they thought they could reach highs that just aren't realistic because of the Boise State's and TCUs of the world, which even if they matched those highs, there isn't any elevation from CUSA going to happen for them.

Same scenario as Tennessee, fire your best ever, hire a guy who has a surprise year but is using you as a stepping stone, then the lulz of hires begins.

No, I agree. Williams has performed well when he was given his chance in the past, so I see no reason why you wouldn't give him a shot in a game that we're (supposed) to win.

Exactly how I feel. Those assholes forced him out after he had been to a bowl game for something like 12 years in a row because they felt "The program has become stale." I can't stand them because of that arrogance.

Yeah, but you don't have a quick trigger on "your guy" either, usually a quarter-half before making a change.

Yep. In two plays, Williams looks miles better than Fitz.
