I know it's tough for Bama (or any team for that matter) but No Derrick Thomas??
lowe and bennett were 3 time all americans ... lowe played on 4 sec title teams and won a natty in '73 ... bennett won the lombardi and was sec player of the year his sr year ... just feel their overall career was a bit better than dt's, though it's splitting hairs a bit ...

I'd replace Ingram with Derrick Thomas. Ingram won the Heisman but DT had an even better career.

You just can't leave Alabama's only Heisman winner off a list like this, which just goes to show that, unlike so may of these other schools, the concept of a list of four is lunacy for Alabama. It part of what sets us apart from everyone else.
Hannah, Bennett, Ingram, Thomas, Stephenson, Newsome, Krauss, Lyons, Cooper, McClain...you can go on and on.

1970+
Herschel
David Pollack
Champ Bailey
Hoage/Stinch/Hearst/Zeier/Butler?
That fourth spot is a tough one for me.

Go with Willis. And yep.
And Arkansas fan, Mallet? I'd have guessed Dirt Winston or Barry Foster

Brandon Burlsworth over any of those three.

Burlsworth is a good answer. I was tempted to put Chucky on my list.
