The Big Hurt. I have so many of his baseball cards. Him and Ken Griffey Jr were the best cards to own back in the day. Back when Fleer put nasty arse bubble gum in the pack.

Nick Saban hasn't drank the coke on his press conference podium since he's been at Alabama.

Mississippi State beat Bama just once between 1958 and 1995. It was in 1980 against #1 Bama and broke a 20-something game winning streak.

Um, I don't think that's correct.

Alabama has Joe Sewell.

Auburn has Frank Thomas

Incorrect. Off the top of my head I know Auburn's Frank Thomas and Alabama's Joe Sewell are in the MLB HOF. LSU's Alvin Dark is not but has a pretty good argument. Don't give a shite enough to look it up to see if there are more.

The SEC produced a player that was in college in the 1910's?

Strange since the SEC didn't exist until 1932.

Looks like that is correct afterall.

QB was Don Jacobs, led team to about 3yd line very late in 4th quarter on what appeared would be drive for the ages and eternal greatness in Bama lore, but fumbled it away on a keeper as he dove for the goal line.

Joe Sewell was coaching Alabama baseball until 1971. He was elected to the HoF in 1977.
