So, with the reclassification, you honestly think he would be ranked that high? Don't think you realize how stacked this class coming in is?

Still, Bama is stacked...now let's see if Avery can make them gel on the court.

So, we are actually going to be good and so is half the league? Figures.
It's just off-season smoke blowing for the rest of the league. We'll be the 2nd best team in the SEC next year.

but they didnt, and you then said mizzou will. so i should compare mizzous 8 win team to gonzaga?(mostly kidding)

And through all this comparing, we're STILL leaving out maybe the most important part, coaching. Not saying Martin is the next coach K, but hes miles ahead of Jones.

inches, feet, what ever. Just another thing that separates Simmons LSU team from this upcoming mizzou team.

The point is that you shouldn't get your hopes up for a great season. Cuonzo had Jaylen Brown, Ivan Rabb, and that other guy who was a high recruit (his name escaped me) at Cal and lost to fricking Hawaii in the NCAA tournament!

I just hope the SEC doesn't shite all over itself again OOC so we can get 6 to 8 in the dance.

Serious question...besides Iowa State and Illinois, who does Mizzou have on the OOC schedule this coming season?

South Carolina next year is probably the least talented team on paper in the conference

Not to say they won't be decent, but there's not a Top 50 player on that roster

I'm pretty liqoured-up right now, so excuse me in advance ... but you're a fricking idiot.

SC is most definitely NOT the least talented team in the conference next year you cracker asshat. I'm tempted right now to jump through this bandwidth and beat your arse because your Daddy never did, obviously.

As I stated, Frank Martin's Gamecocks will be game.

I expect at least two of those teams to make the dance so I'd say I disagree

I'd say it's LSU, Tennessee, and South Carolina in that order. Although I don't think any of those teams will br bad and Tennessee and South Carolina both should be decent

Outside of Silva, none of South Carolina's returners were very highly recruited. Maybe Keita, but he showed that he was really raw.

I'll preface this by saying that I didn't expect South Carolina to be very good going into last season and I was wrong there. But I credit Thornwell's ridiculous junior to senior jump for that.

Let's look at South Carolina's probable rotation

PG: Felder (2* diamond in the rough), Gravett (2* JUCO)
SG: Holden (transfer from mid-major), Beatty (freshman Top 150 player)
SF: Minaya (freshman 2* diamond in the rough), Doumbia (freshman 3*)
PF: Kotsar (foreign 3*), Haase (freshman 3*)
C: Silva (Top 100 player), Keita (Top 150 but super raw)

I'm sure all of these guys fit Martin's system and the defense will be fine, but that's not a lot of talent. Silva and Holden are really going to have to carry that team offensively

Maybe someone will make a jump like Thornwell did last year. But Thornwell was a 5* and there isn't anyone nearly as talented on South Carolina's roster as him so I'm skeptical

Dude, you missouri fans are going to learn very quickly that kentucky owns the SEC in basketball. I'm not downplaying yalls recruiting class or your momentum going into this upcoming season, but kentucky runs this league...similar to how kansas runs the big 12, except we have florida too, both of them are in your division no less. Pump the brakes a little bit. Missouri is not going to surpass kentucky in basketball, ever. Your recruiting this year has turned out great, the only problem is that kentucky signs classes like that and better every damn year. I'll just let you find out for yourself, just remember that kentucky is and always will be the standard in basketball in the SEC. That's all they have ever cared about and they're not going to let mizzou change that. Good luck though, and congrats on the signing class and momentum going into next season.

I agree. Can't blame the Mizzou fan for being excited after the mess we came out of. Right now, I'm just hoping to have a good enough year to make the dance.
