How can you have a random road game? Did they just get in a bus and pick a direction?

That's probably the best explanation I've heard for why Alabama would end up playing a game at Rajun Cajun Stadium.

He clearly meant most unexpected/unusual, since he is picking games where one team usually doesn't travel to someone beneath them
Not entirely sure though, since he including Ole Miss @ Wyoming. They are about on par historically

I'm aware of these games as MSU plays them, but it's still so bizarre to see them all listed together like this.

Gillette Stadium makes sense to me.

That list doesn't include the Memphis games, either.

Ole Miss played at Arkansas State in 2001

quote:And we lost that game giving Wyoming their first win ever against an SEC team, and we had 19 of 21 starters back from the 10-3 team the year before with Eli.
Ole Miss
2004 - Ole Miss @ Wyoming
But oh no, Ole Miss shouldn't have fired Cutcliffe.

Nice cherry picking
Cherry picking? Find me another SEC program that played half as many of those types of games as State has since 1995.

I don't know about half, but there are several that were mysteriously not listed.

I'd say replacing the #1 draft pick with Ethan Flatt is a pretty big deal. Ethan has done well for himself, though. Has nice a nice job at Bass, Berry, and Simms in Nashville

This game replaced what would have been a matchup with LSU before they got scared and canceled it
Also known as "The 2PAC Game", because our players blamed the loss on having to play shortly after his death

Arkansas played at Monroe in 2010 or '11. A&M played at La Tech with Manziel I believe. Not SEC but NC State played at Mobile in 2015. Mizzou has some too. These are just off my recent memory.

Never though I'd see LSU FOOTBALL play in the Carrier Dome
