One of the cons of the Kiffin era. Man we had a lot of presnap penalties.

Baseball season bruh. It was weird that the NCAA skipped basketball this year.

With our style of play getting a lot of penalties is a big no no for us.

Over the last 3 years, Alabama is tied for the 7th least penalized team in conference on a per game basis.

We have been winning this award for 25 years now. Not sure what happened in 2015, but just click back through the years and see for yourself.

I used CFBStats as well. UF is, by far, the most penalized team in the conference.

Soooo middle of the pack for that stat. Lead the SEC in average number of penalties per game. #BamaPrivilege

This spans at least 5 coaches with different philosophies from wide open to conservative. Not sure if they have the stats prior to the 90's.

C'mon, dude, you know how this works.
They penalize the other team into submission, Bama get's their big lead, then the refs start playing "catch up" for the visuals.
Duh.

So is there a code word for how this works or do the refs all get together and decide on when to start calling penalties on Bama beforehand?

It's a state of FL problem because the same applies to FSU and UM.

The SEC Home Office monitors Bama's game.
When it is time to begin the make-up call regime, the SEC Office calls all the refs officiating Bama's game. They all have their phones in their pockets set to vibrate.
QED.
This ain't rocket surgery, fella.
(P.S. If the Red Elephant representative has determined that the SEC Office is waiting too long, they will pick up the Red Phone and the call is immediately taken in the SEC Commissioner's office.)

Yeah, no matter the coach, we are champions of yellow flags. It's nothing like Life Championships but still.
