Not just this year. It has to be south Carolina right? With spurrier at the helm, I could see them doing it and sustaining success.

I mean we are at 14 teams, so maybe it'll be a big 7 one day.

But then again, it might be a long, long time before we find out.

Yeah, USC is the only one I can see.

The next three years I'd favor USCe but once Spurrier leaves it will be wait and see if they can stay as a top tier program

Aggies are most likely though. They can recruit as well as the big six. Sumlin is a very good coach as well. Only issue is I think the guy will be an NFL coach sooner rather than later. Just a hunch. No evidence.

If USC doesn't do it soon, Spurrier's gonna retire. In that case, I figure OM. They have the coach and the momentum...for now.

USCe is very likely in the near future...but seriously...A&M with our built in recruiting advantage over the other non big 6 teams is going to make it a big 7 one day soon.

Yes, Sumlin's record in conference championship games is very impressive.

I think it is possible for USC but they will have to have a lot fall their way. UF and UGA will almost always outspend them and outrecruit them and that is just to get through the East, it also assumes UT stays down.

A&M has the resources to match any of the Big 6 pound for pound going forward and has as strong of a recruiting base as anyone. They may or may not break through this year or next but long term it is almost inevitable.

Resources and recruiting are the best ways to predict future success.

You had these same advantages while in the big12 and only won it one time while both OU and Texas was down.

Someone should compare the football budgets.

USC but their window is closing with SOS at the helm. Their next hire may or may not be able to sustain the momentum. It will be interesting for it to unfold.

I'm hoping that they fall back to whipping boy. We already have too many tough games. No offense CNB.

Don't you know how much money they have from endowments!!!!?

Yet, their athletic department had to borrow money from the university a few years back that they did not pay back.

aggy money staaaaaaaacked.

SEC fuuuuuuucked.

I get the feeling Spurrier is grooming his son to take over for him once he retires.

Worked out for Texas Tech basketball with the Knights.

In any other conference, Visor would have already won two with that team.

But even so, I don't see them doing it this year and wouldn't be a bit surprised if Spurrier never gets it at SCe. Winning the SEC is a tall order these days.

Arkansas of course. Their coach came really close to beating TCU in a bowl one time.
