So what's the problem, Tiger fans? Is Les becoming the victim of his own over achievement through the first half of the schedule?

Preseason predictions mean nothing. This team showed that they were really good up until the Bama game. Losing that game was understandable, but falling apart yet again after the annual Alabama loss is not excusable and is becoming a routine. Not to mention the way we've lost. Say what you want about how good you think we should be, but there is no denying our roster has too much talent to be blown out three weeks in a row

I don't think LSU fans would be as mad at him if the team actually played with some effort.

I'm not sure that's true. I remember a lot of SEC champs/undefeated talk back in August. This is the season kind of stuff. I can understand their disappointment. I live it every year.

In the preseason predictions thread, LSU fans picked themselves to finish 10-2. Predictions of 9-3 were the most common, with even a few 8-4 thrown in.
Athlon Sports predicted LSU to finish 4-4 in the SEC.

I guess the real question is: does LSU have natty talent? If the answer is yes, then there is some serious motivation/utilization issues. If the answer is no, then that opens up a lot more questions.

I just don't understand the uproar, since the results are matching preseason predictions. Maybe I can understand being upset at the margins of the losses, but there were very few people who expected LSU to win the SEC until about 8 weeks into the season.
