Most enjoyable away game experience?

I have been to pretty much every SEC stadium with the exception of Mizzou, Vaderbilt, and South Carolina.
Overall, Tennessee in 2011 was probably the best overall experience I have had. We went with some guys who work for Shaw Group, and they had a tailgate spot in that parking garage on the river. The fans were extremely welcoming, and invited us to drink and eat with them. The Vol navy is a cool tradition to see, and the stadium was impressive to say the least. I really enjoyed watching the band play the LSU alma mater, and forming the T for the team to run out in. Rocky Top was cool to hear the first time (not the 22,201 time...). I tend to believe the fans were probably more welcoming seeing as UT was not a very solid team, and LSU was coming in as a strong #1.
I have never really had a "bad" experience at another school. We did have a UF fan throw a half eaten apple at us, but other UF fans quickly apologized and had us tailgate with them. They had a clever "coonass trap" with a corndog in it. We told them they would have a better chance catching us with a budlight. Bama fans were pretty crude after the 2011 game in Tuscaloosa, and they were BRUTAL walking out of the dome in 2011.

Ole Miss. We lost the game but had a great time.
I guess it was 2002, frick I can't believe it's been that long ago.

2007 Auburn @ Arkansas, Parked in a guys yard near the stadium, shared food and booze with them and generally had a great time.

I really enjoyed Georgia. I know some girls from high school that went there. We got black out with some of the baseball players. Oh I think it was 2012?

Fayetteville or LSU. Both a hell of a time. Oxford is highly overrated IMO. You'll have a shitty time, unless you're a 20 y/o entitled douchelord who has a weird afixiation with staring women down from across the bar but not making a move.

I've been to most places in the SEC and the only places I've had a bad time were in Starkville and Oxford.
I've enjoyed going every where else. Only places I haven't been are Texas A&M, Missouri, and SC.

Sounds like you just couldn't close.

Married, but that vibe among your students is highly apparent and palpable.

UGA last time LSU visited there. LSU lost but still a great time, bar scene and campus.

Uga was awesome when I went as well. Probably somewhere around '08.
I like pretty much all of the places I have been, except obviously Starkville, but that's not just on game days. We have some friends down there and visit some and it just doesn't really do it for me

LSU for me. It's the only away game I've been to. I loved going to random LSU games back in the day

Each campus is unique and nice in their own special way. Love the entire SEC. I guess Been to Starkville a couple of times and that would be my least favorite.

I obviously have reasons and bias against it, but that's why I mention the parts where I have actually been there on normal weekends with friends that live there

You're coming to Columbia in September, right?

Tennessee has been far and away the best road game experience for me as well. The fans were great, which confirms to me that the UT posters on this board never go to any of their games.

As far as an in-game experience, I can't imagine anywhere coming close to Bama. That place has it figured out.

UGA. Only bad part of the trip is driving through 2 landfills masquerading as states before getting to Georgia.
