Both teams were disappointed in their seasons. Houston has lots of LSU alumni, but will the fans attend? Obviously a lot of Auburn fans around Birmingham, but will the fans attend?

We will have one of our worst bowl turnouts in a long time.

We have had our good year already this decade. I'm saving up for the big bowl in the 2020's.

I'm going with less at Auburn's bowl.

It's Legion field. They may lose 10% of the fans who intended to go to the game trying just to get parking who look around and decide to find a bar to watch it at instead.

Much safer.

Be sure to wear all your Bama gear like at normal Auburn games so everyone knows how cool you are.

Take a look at all of the empty seats in all of the bowls not affiliated with the playoff.

Almost makes you wish for a return back to the old bowl system when there were about 15 bowls and 4-5 of them had MNC implications.

Maybe the UAB fans can attend the Auburn game if the city gives out tickets for free.

LSU will have more. Auburn could potentially have some bad weather.

When Ole Miss made the Birmingham Bowl in 2012, I parked somewhere in a poor neighborhood close to the stadium. An octogenarian African American lady with whited out eyes directed me into her yard for parking and charged me ungodly amounts of money to park there. I chose to park there out of fear for my life. I could have been possessed that day.

Remember the old lady from that movie with Nicole Kidman about 15 years ago? The Others?

Good luck Aubie's -- prayers sent.

Auburn is going to sell out the Bham Bowl. Will be a deface home game for Auburn. I'll be there.

they better sell out the game if they want to continue the "family" rhetoric. family sticks by you through thick and thin, right?

I posted this under another thread. Prior to the Aggie game People were predicting a low turnout, apathy and disinterest. . I seriously haven't seen a more pumped up crowd or football team in two years. There is a huge difference between what you read on The Rant and what you experience in the stadium.

LSU will be well represented.

That's cute - I often forget how fun it is to insinuate people are gay because of the team they support. Carry on though and good luck at the plant in the morning.
