Have to go with Clemson since they were a national seed, but Ole Miss believed they deserved to be a national seed, so it's a close call.

Simple Math.

2 and Q is worse than 2-2.

As much as I hate to say it, Ole Miss was more embarrassing.
Ole Miss went 2 and barbecue and the team they lost to did not make it to Omaha. Clemson won a few games and ran into a hot OKST team who proved it was a legit team by making it to Omaha.

Ole Miss also lost to the only team in the tournament with a losing record. And truth be told, Ole Miss was likely the first team or two out for national seeds. Clemson was the #7 national seed. They really weren't too far apart. Bottom line, like you said, Clemson didn't go 2&Q and were eliminated by a team that's still playing. Neither team that beat Ole Miss made it out of the Oxford regional, much less qualify for the College World Series.

Yep, that loss to Utah was sad. Tulane put us out of our misery with the 2 run shot in the 9th. Our starting pitching was not strong all year and we burnt our bullpen up.

Clemson had a first year coach who exceded expectations by a mile.

Clemson won the ACC over FSU who FLorida beat to get to Omaha. Also beat out Miami, BC and Lousville.

what is the difference b/t losing in laste game of a regional and a team who loses 2 games and eliminated in super regional.

a few days ago, a lot of SEC ppl were talking trash. only 1 SEC team remains and i doubt they win it all. :)

SC lost to OSU as well. I believe Clemson won its series with SC this year too.

What does any of this matter?

You said baseball was for rednecks or something to that effect and that you didn't follow and didn't enjoy collegiate baseball.

And yeah, we lost the series to y'all and the supers to OSU...but you will not find any of us suddenly downplaying baseball as if it never mattered to us to begin with.

ETA: lol :) wow

just more random words to help spin Oklahoma St cuttin their asses by a combined 21-4.

thank God the Southeastern Conference recognizes regular season winners as champions of the SEC and awards the auto bid into NCAAs to the tournament winner. the other policy is distinctly reserved for the sheep who participate in the "North Carolina Conference"

The team Ole Miss lost to with a losing record was the going away champion of a FOUR BID LEAGUE. one that has a CWS participant. The other team we lost to has multiple wins over LSU. I'd say Ole Miss had the more embarrassing performance. But neither Clemson nor Ole Miss were great teams. Not sure why you'd feel the need to pick on a few teams that far exceeded expectations this year.

you'd think these people were fans of teams go to and /or win the CWS every year.

i do care about clemson baseball winning in terms i can then brag about it because it was clemson. i don't care abuthte sport tho. lol

he had 400 yards passing.

6 receivers had over 30 yards. 3 receivers had over 60 yards.

that was without our best two receivers who return this year.

lol

it is hard 2 believe u watch football

Henry keeps getting stopped by the goal line. Should have been four picks so far.

Oh, want me to add to your upvote and make it two?

think the main issue in the game was CU's special teams which u have not even mentioned.

if Shaq Lawson coul dhave played, the defense would have been better.

Clemson despite being the no. 1 seed got the toughest 1st round opponent. alabama basically got a bye in the first round. typical alabama / saban bias.

i don' tthink bama could have beat both CU and Okla with that QB.
