Mizzou has a fine football program that everyone associated with the school should be proud of.

The Yankee Tigers have won FIFTEEN conference championships in football (2 more than my beloved GA Bulldogs) 12 in the Big 8 an 3 in the Western Interstate University Football Association (never you mind that 1895 was a three way tie for the championship amongst 4 teams). Only Oklahoma and Nebraska had more in the Big 8.

The SEC should be honored that we were able to procure the 3rd best football school from the now defunct Big 8.

And never you mind that their last football championship was in 1969; a strong and solid program like Mizzou won't stay down forever, they are due!

"But lets review the elites."

Yeah lets do that. You are 0-9 vs top10 teams since joining the SEC. What next? You gonna try to justify some of those 9 by showing that the score was close? You want to talk all time Mizzou record then how about this, it's been almost 50 years since you won a conference title!

This is always a fun argument. Isn't this true for just about every team? How many losses can a top ten team take and stay in the top ten?

And Missouri has just about as many losses in ATL in 2 tries (0-2) as UF has in 10 (7-3).

That's teams who finished in the top10.

And its not true for every team. Somebody is beating them or the top10 would be permanently the same.

True. But much like Ole Miss, Mizzou hasn't won anything noteworthy in major men's sports since integration.

Here is a link everyone should bookmark - LINK

Let's look at Auburn vs the SEC:

AL - Alabama leads the series versus Auburn: 43-35-1

AR - Auburn leads the series versus Arkansas: 13-10-1

FL - Auburn leads the series versus Florida: 44-38-2

GA - Auburn vs Georgia series TIED: 55-55-8

KY - Auburn leads the series versus Kentucky: 25-6-1

LSU - LSU leads the series versus Auburn: 27-21-1

MS St - Auburn leads the series versus Mississippi State: 58-28-2

MS - Auburn leads the series versus Ole Miss: 29-10-0

MO - Auburn vs Missouri series TIED: 1-1-0

SC - Auburn leads the series versus South Carolina: 10-1-1

TN - Auburn leads the series versus Tennessee: 28-21-3

aTm - Texas AM leads the series versus Auburn: 4-1-0

Vandy - Vanderbilt leads the series versus Auburn: 21-20-1

So, to compare Auburn and Mizzou in the SEC...

All the Aubbies have to do is beat UGA this year and play .500 ball against them moving forward AND beat aTm 4 years in a row AND win their next 2 meetings against Vanderbilt AND THEN the Barn will be able to say that they have equaled Mizzou's success in the Southeastern Conference!

Explanation:

Mizzou's down. The so called "elites" are lucky they faced a down Mizzou. I feel sorry for the SEC and the "elites" when Mizzou is full strength and firing on all cylinders.

The final elite program (Alabama) just last year took the lead in the series head-to-head.

And, in the sake of using misleading stats ;)

It's been 40 YEARS since Missouri managed a win over Alabama. Seriously, that's just pathetic. Even Kentucky and Vanderbilt have managed at least a win in that time frame against us.

frick Mizzou... they allow football players to rape swimmers and record it, with no penalty.

Which is retarded, because if you play a top 10 bowl team and win they will drop out of the top 10 more times than not.

for some unexplained reason, I always read your posts.

your all-time record on here is amazing. imo, it's amazing even tho your post content is often really screwing. it's like your an Arky in disguise.

I do get that Mizzou is underrated by the crowd on this site. if y'all are legit, that will change going forward. I think y'all already have the coaches attention.
