Serious question, how are the NIT games played I assume it's regional just never payed attention to the NIT? Would there be a shot of the game being played in Missouri? I'd be down to go to it!

I don't know the particular format, but it starts with higher seeds having home games(seeds are determined not just by best team but by who they think will sell out), and it ends at MSG. I don't know if it's 8 or 4 teams that make it to MSG

Thanks man! Good info I figgured it would be somthing like that. And I'd assume if they were matched it could be a pretty close game.

It could be a close game. Mizzou quit after the Florida game.

Mizzou blocked Springfield from becoming Missouri State for a long time, expect revenge.

When I was at Mizzou, the BB players intentionally lost in the first round of the NIT so they could go on spring break.

That's how important the NIT is to the players. Could easily lose it.

Missouri State is still the only mens BB team to beat all the D1 schools in the State in the same year. Missouri has dodged Missouri State since Norm was the coach. Of course back then Missouri State was damned good.

I would love to see Mizzou smack Mo. State back to reality since their 20 or so redneck fans have this idea that they are consistently as good or better than Mizzou. However, of all the times to play them, we could actually lose this year. Our guys have quit and I doubt they'll get up for an NIT game.

My alma matter!

I would root for them versus the vile Haith.
