Yeah, getting to ATL has no merits if you lose right?

This level of butt hurt from this clown is rarely seen on tRant. I admire it from afar.

Exactly. Maybe the most painful loss ever. SC benefited from not losing an extra game like we did.

Coming from the guy that downvotes every Mizzou poster in every thread you are active in...

Not one Mizzou poster complained about injuries. "Get SEC depth or GTFO." We can accept that. We just dont accept your bitch cries concerning injuries now.

quid pro quo young man.

Thats like saying its better to not win your division in baseball than going to the play offs and possibly racking up another loss that the non playoff team wouldnt get...or the same for the NFL..or NBA..or NHL...you get the drift.

Nope, not at all. FBS CFB is an entity unique to itself.

You should probably tell your AD who handed out East Division championship rings for that "loss"

Our AD is a douchebag, so it doesnt come as a shock.

No its not. There isnt a coach in any P5 conference that would willingly forgo playing for a conference title game over worries about their bowl game situation post hoc.

Its sheer nonsense.

The fact you think so proves two things that were evident early on:

1. You're an idiot
2. You're a pussy.

FBS CFB is the only sport which has rankings and bowls to fall back on, so yes, it is unique to itself.

Idiot fans like yourself celebrate weak division titles and blowout title game losses, which in turn gives a coach better job security. Pinkel thanks you for that, but deep down, I bet he knows the benefits to having avoided such a scenario. They are very real, and they trump any silly point you can introduce, but amuse me, and post your list of reasons why Mizzou is better off for that 42-13 loss.

There isnt a situation in which a coach would forgo playing for their conference title in the hopes for a "Better bowl","better record" or "better ranking".

You are a mental midget.

This is a bunch of gibberish. Im going to hold out hope that you are an outlier instead of a representation of your fanbase. I mean, really you just said this

There isnt one in which one COULD do that. Try to stick to real life.

If you claim Job security is NOT improved, then its gibberish, but you know it is, so this is nothing but another worthless flame from you. You forgot to list the reasons why Mizzou is better of for that 42-13 loss, but you need to do that for you to have a solid point.

Richt might have lost his job if not for that meaningless accomplishment of getting blown out in the 2011 SECCG, which reinforces the previous point I made.

Fine.

That is "real life".

Seems you are not dealing with that very well.

We all know what that represents. Yep, just another example of a Mizzou fan celebrating back to back blowout losses, which you said no mizzou fan has done. Takes a smart guy to prove himself wrong, but you did it.

BTW, thats a very long list of reasons why Mizzou is better off for that 42-13 loss. You are so good at this message board thing.

When one cant make a strong point, the easiest option to take is to attempt to insult ones intelligence through a name call or a supposedly clever graphic, and you resort to that over and over and over. Twain is rolling over in his grave.

11-2 is in fact better than 11-3, and its stupid to claim otherwise.

I'm sure that plays well for Mark Richt around Athens.

That's fine. Let him think it. I'll take the extra week of the national wags talking Mizzou.

If our last two recruiting classes are any indication of what getting to the SECCG can bring, I'll take it.

Should be pretty easy to sell kids on "you're the missing piece".

That, and we won't process you out the door if we need some scholarship room.

I can't imagine that doesn't impress the hell out of a parent - if you come to Mizzou your son WILL graduate.

Not as well as one would think, but better than an extra 42-13 loss would.

Of course, I already skipped a mizzou thread this week, but when Mizzou wins the east again in unimpressive fashion and proceeds to lose to the west champ again in unimpressive fashion..........
