Sorry, originally there was zero reason for me to step in as it was a well thought out original post, but I couldnt resist the large hook that was presented later in the thread with the LSU comparison that once again ignored the injuries to UGA.

That's the dumbest fricking post ever made on here, congrats.
Calling it dumb doesnt make it dumb. In reality, there is are obvious benefits to NOT losing the SECCG that prove its not even close to a dumb point:
1. Better record
2. Better ranking
3. Better bowl

Getting back to your OP, 2 things that are almost opposite of what I would have thought going into spring.
1. I never would have been concerned about RB. I am now. I'm gonna keep drinking what Semo is serving...for now...and hope that 1 or 2 of them take the bull by the horns by mid-season. But right now, what I thought was a strength has me a bit concerned.
2. What I thought was a huge concern at WR I now feel more than confident. That's not to say there's a Jeremy Maclin on the team, but the depth of talent blows the unit from last year out of the water when looked at as a whole.
The whole Lock thing is interesting. At least on paper, he was by far, and I mean by far, the best QB on the field. On the one hand, I'd like to see him RS but the other side of me would just as soon see him getting real reps in during practice instead of running a scout team. I feel for GP the next 2 years. I don't know how holds off playing Lock if he is in fact the best QB on the team.

If you don't get to the SECCG, you can't win it. You can raise high your bowl trophy and top 20 ranking. I'd rather have a shot in the SECCG.

Yeah. We need Abbington or Steward to really step up. I suppose Doherty is an option, but he is green.

Its obviously a hindsight issue. If I have to choose between a painful/embarrassing loss and a better record, ranking, and bowl, the choice is clear IMO.

1. That doesnt even make sense when using a hindsight view.
2. A pussy celebrates back to back 15+ point losses.

A pussy navel gazes. Life isn't lived in the past tense.

"Hindsight view" can be found in the "UGA moral victory handbook" next to "But we had Injuries"

No one is celebrating a loss.
A pussy tries to argue its better to not win the division. A pussy celebrates not winning their division. A pussy celebrates beating the division winner while losing to two other division opponents.

Even though none of that makes sense on any level, at the very least, its better to be a pussy than an idiot.

As soon as the game ends, it becomes past tense, and Mizzou got nothing positive from taking that beat down.

You keep saying this...maybe some self reflection is in order.

Says the guy who thinks 3 losses is better than 2?

Just as Georgia got no positives from losing by 4 in 2012?
Yeah, getting to ATL has no merits if you lose right?

Exactly, nothing positive came from that game. UGA would have been much better off watching SC lose that game.

When one comes in a post season game that the other didnt qualify for?
Thats like saying its better to not win your division in baseball than going to the play offs and possibly racking up another loss that the non playoff team wouldnt get...or the same for the NFL..or NBA..or NHL...you get the drift.
You are a real Mensa level thinker. Its not surprising you dont have many other Dawgs backing you in these threads. You are embarrassing the shite out of your entire fan base.

You should probably tell your AD who handed out East Division championship rings for that "loss"
