How lucky is the SEC to have Mizzou? God we're amazing.

Alabama has trophies, sure. That random USCjr fan doesn't have any, and some random gump on the internet doesn't have any trophies either. It was a silly, irrelevant question.

Here is the reality again just to be safe:

Happy to hear about your success.

If you could make it to an SEC championship game lately you might have noticed things have changed.

It really is a shame how far LSU has fallen. The once proud program hired a coach with that won a total of 3 games in a season during the best year of his career. My how times have changed.

Don't be nice. They deserve even less credit than that. 1969 was a "co-champion" year, so that one is BS. 1960 was awarded retroactively. So those two both have asterisks.

Their last outright and legitimately won conference title was in 1945... which to be fair, is still more recent than Mississippi State or Vanderbilts last conference titles.

Conference titles since WW2.

Missouri - 0 (1945)
Mississippi State - 0 (1941)
Vanderbilt - 0 (1923)

Florida, georgia (for about 37 years), and tennessee have all been down for a while and mizzou took advantage of that. Don't think so highly of yourself, it didn't last long and mizzou prob will never be in another sec title game again.

National Championships 1936-Present:

Minnesota - 4
Misery - 0

And Minnesota hasn't been relevant since the 60s.

Only Missouri fans seem to feel the need to try to find angles to justify themselves. It's sad really.

I don't understand this thread.

The OP is correct.

Success of the "new 4" is clearly

1. Missouri
2. Arkansas
3. USC
4. Texas A&M

The purpose of sports is to play for and win championships. Missouri has played in two SECC games in a very short time period in the league.

Circumstances or not, they still did it. The OP is not saying they are better than the big 6. Just that they are better than the rest of the newbies.

He is correct.

I have a running theory that all the Mizzou posters on this site are really just mizzoukillz alters anyways.

I would cringe as a SEC "fan" as well watching Mizzou walk into your conference and putting up back to back 7-1 SEC conference records.

Meh. It's offset by the two 2-6 and 1-7 years to be honest.

Mizzou is 19-21 in conference since joining.
