Yes it might not be all for Mizzou. You have Missouri Cities like KCMO, STL, St Joe, Joplin bordering other states. Springfield less than an hour from Arkansas state line. You get people following different college teams. Then add in the numerous Div II schools in the best conference in D2, people follow the smaller schools.

In the Joplin area you get a mixture of Mizzou, Arkansas, OU, Okie State, KU, K-State fans. You'll get a lot of people from Kansas and Oklahoma coming over to Joplin to work, so you'll see out of state college tags on cars.
