I guess they don't care much about College Sports. Their endowment is good but damn nobody puts money into their athletic dept. I can remember a Hog fan saying it's an Arms race in the SEC, I laughed at him. He was damn right. Some schools fans are pumping good money into their athletic programs.

You're talking about 2 different things with annual giving and capital improvements. Facilities upgrades won't come from annual giving, it is a separate effort.

We are starting off by getting a 200 Million dollar gift from the boosters for facilities. I think we will be just fine in the arms race.

Missouri fans claim that all these big money boosters were just waiting for a reason to donate, and the SEC is the reason they were waiting for. Am I the only one who finds this hard to believe?

This isnt coming from Tax Money. This is a small pool of rich donors.

The donors were going to give a smaller amount if we were still in the Big XII. However they were not happy what so ever with the conference. They told the administration that they will keep us financially competitive with the rest of the SEC schools if we moved. They are excited about being in the SEC wanted to "reward" the school for the move.

Dude. Don't tell them that. We don't want to the let the rest of the SEC see how big our dick is before we put it in. It ruins the surprise.
