If I were them I would be of the opinion that surely this will blow over within the next couple of years if everyone just shuts the frick up about it.

It has been 9 months Since the fallout and since then we have several new curators, cleaned house with most that drove the train last fall, including coaches, received a record quarter of financial giving to offset any temporary shortfall, the city of Columbia is growing like crazy right now from 84,000 in 2000 to 120,000 today, and oh yeah we are still in the SEC. Things have already stabilized and no over night protesting will ever be allowed on the Mizzou campus again. Major donors and Missouri politicians have made that crystal clear to our Admin that what happened will be learned from. Period. So yes, the mood is much better.

Your school torpedoed your own president based on a completely fabricated horseshite story, and your university exemplifies everything wrong with PC culture that is detrimental to higher education in general. It'll take a while before your school regains any credibility.
