Throwing,

No one has said Uga is elite or a juggernaut. We aren't far off when you look at our success under richt though, so we could reach that level with some breaks going our way.

In other word..."We are a juggernaut except we've gotten screwed by those excuses."

It's basically the Branson of Tennessee, but it's a good time and the cabin at the base of the Smokies is pretty awesome.

Honestly, I've seen more Bama gear than UT gear. Although, there is this weird thing going on where people will replace the T on their cars with the Orange T. Seen a 10 year old Mustang and Frontier with this...classy.

Was harassed a bit by a younger UT fan while wearing a Mizzou shirt. How lucky we were to win the East, etc. I informed him that Mizzou had never lost to UT in football and he refused to believe me. Had to google it for him.

Old Smoky has some pretty good shine, but I know a couple dudes in Missouri who make better.

"Are" and "would be" aren't the same thing.

It's stupid how much some of Yall want to discount the importance of luck or lack of it.

Y'all wouldn't have needed any luck in 02/07/12 if you had just taken care of business on the field.

You are discounting the luck of so many teams....

Our 2002 team took care of business on the field like lsu 2003 and uf 2006/2008 did.

Our 2007 team took care of business on the field like Lsu 2007 did.

Our 2012 team was one play short vs a great bama team, and was likely better than a team like AU 2013.

Don't lose to Ron Zook when y'all were ahead of Ohio State in both the AP and BCS.
Don't lose to a South Carolina team at home who didn't even go bowling.
Don't choke against Alabama.

None of that is luck. Quit acting like y'all went undefeated like Auburn in 04.

LSU lost to Ron Zook in 2003, and they still got a shot.
UF lost to AU in 2006, and they still got a shot.
LSU lost to UK in 2007, and they still got a shot.
UF lost to Ole Miss in 2008, and they still got a shot.
Auburn lost to LSU in 2013, and they still got a shot.

ALL of that is luck, and none of them are acting like they went undefeated.

This is the only item on your list that sounds stupid. You don't think it was even a little bit of bad luck that with 10 seconds left, a batted pass goes directly to another receiver who isn't in position to score or stop the clock?

Is that your definition of choking?

that goes on when we play USC. Spurrier gets those kids ready for us.

Mizzou has been really surprising. I'm not sure why all the Georgia fans are in here shitting all over this thread like our supremely talented team shits all over two fields every year. Usually including at least one of UF, USC or UT. I don't think Mizzou belongs in the SEC - geographically - but they certainly compete well enough on the field.

Looking for respect on the Internet is a loser. Do want to add that Mizzou has won its bowl games against the B10 and B12 while repping the SEC. Mizzou should have played Wisconsin instead of Minnesota though ....

Do agree Mizzou is a buy stock because it keeps getting better in sports not named men's hoops. SEC money will help that cause. Women's hoops will assert itself going fwd .... for a new program about to emerge.

Thank God for a rational UGA poster.

Your team is good, damn good, but you don't make excuses for the few losses UGA might have over the years. Can respect your views on realignment as well, though I think UGA is benefiting from that as well.

Wasn't a Mizzou fan that started the thread.

Don't disagree with the rest. Not saying we ever get to an elite level but I do think Mizzou probably has as much room or more than any other school to grow their athletics as a whole. But that is primarily because they were neglected for so God awfully long. If they do continue to pump $$$$ into the programs, they'll continue to get better at each.

You seem as confused about the concept of trolling as you are about the concept of luck.

Now that you got that silliness out of the way, Care to explain how usc losing to ucla in 2006 wasn't lucky for uf's title shot?

If you claim any of my points have been irrational, maybe I am not the one lacking rational thoughts.
