Either UGA was waaaaay the frick overrated coming into this season or Mizzou was way underrated.

Or does Mizzou just have UGA's number?

Mizzou is just that damn good. Trust me, I follow college baseball religiously.

What the hell is going on with Georgia and Mizzou? This is getting ridiculous.

Probably a little bit of all of the above. UGA I do think was missing their Friday night starter so there is that. But Mizzou is a step or two better than last year. Their pitching is pretty damn deep, but they've cut down on the errors so far this year and they're getting not just more hitting but timely hitting than in the last couple of years.

No excuse for getting swept at home, but we are pretty banged up. Our Sunday starter had to leave in the 4th inning today, we're already missing our ace, and we spent most of the weekend without our starting left fielder and catcher.

I don't know what's up with this team, but they've gone from a solid looking squad to making me pull my hair out in two days.

Yalls pitching seems pretty banged up, but our team is also much improved.

We used to have a good baseball program and it wasn't that long ago. I'd like to get back to that.

We're pretty fortunate with our pitching. I wouldn't say we have an ace but we can probably go 5 or 6 starters deep and not lose a beat. I would have loved to have seen what we could have done if Benes could have played this year. If he could contribute offensively as much as Bond has, we'd have a pretty damn solid team. Not sure where they'd shift everyone because I think Benes is natural on the left side of the infield though.

Ya'll can start by investing in a new stadium... Your softball team has a better facility. Not a flame, at all.

We just invested into our current stadium, and someone should arrest the contactor because the renderings are nothing like the finished product. Actually not much difference at all

And softball is getting a brand new stadium/complex built for them. Not renovations. Brand new. Will be ready for 2017 I think.

Baseball won't get one until they start winning and filling the place at least as well as softball does. Too many question marks with the HC too. This is his last year and they didn't extend his contract.

My guess is that Mizzou comes back down to earth with the brutal SEC week in and week out. HC gets fired. In order to lure a new coach in, they promise him a new stadium or massive overhauls of the current one.

They built a locker room for the team and that was about it. And no, they didn't even have one before. They used to have to talk to the field in the unis. They didn't really do any upgrades to the field/stadium itself.

That's amazing. Not many teams go into Athens and sweep the Dawgs. Mizzou got some kind of hex over UGA?

But can't beat them at home. Same with football. Beat them there but lost at home.

Our baseball stadium sucks, and we just renovated it. No idea who they hired to do it but the finished product is almost criminal. Looks like they put up a pole barn down the left field line.

Softball is getting a brand new stadium very soon.

UGA is off to a rough start. They won a series vs FSU so you know they've got plenty of skill... but since that series win they've gone 2-7 in weekend series games. 0-3 vs GA. Southern, 2-1 vs Longwood, and now 0-3 vs Mizzou.

Looking at their schedule it'll be interesting to see how UGA and UT do against each other but then they have to go to SC and get Vandy in Athens for a tough back to back weekend series.
