How much difference does the coaching situation make? Should LSU still expect an easy win at home? Should we expect a competitive game? I'm obviously hopeful that Mizzou has a shot to win. I really don't know what to expect. Guess that's why we watch the games.

The game just got a lot more interesting. LSUs players could come out motivated and playing for their coach or they could come out deflated and throw in the towel.

I say LSU can expect to get a score in the second half of a game for the first time this season.

Otherwise, it's a tossup.

There is no doubt LSU has more talent and the home field advantage is huge. But this will be a weird week for them. I think I'll let myself hope just a little.

There will be more intensity than any game so far this season. It'll be the most energetic tiger stadium in recent memory. Missouri needs to order some extra chin straps

I have a feeling LSU comes out highly motivated and blows Mizzou out

If you are attending the game, I think the atmosphere will be better after today's happenings. I believe Missouri has an excellent opportunity to pick up a win becuase of their passing attack. I am excited for the first time in a LONG time to attend a LSU football game and I have not missed any in a LONG time. Excited to finally see Missouri in person since you guys joined the conference and excited to see Coach Orgeron running the show.

I want to see if he is still going to stretch with the team in pre-game

Need to take back a comment. I missed Ole Miss and A&M last year, was in Africa

I'm excited for y'all to visit TS and our campus now. Before I was certain it would be dead and a major disappointment.

They'll play angry for the rest of the season for their program and smack the shite out of Mizzou. Wounded animal and such....

it's amazing how confident you aggies are in September. every year.

Mizzou may win, but not by 3 TD's. our D is pretty good and getting better.

I agree.
If the fans come out in full force the players will feed off of it.

The fans will play a big part in holding this team and recruiting class together

I haven't really looked at how the teams match up. From what I've seen, Missouri strengths are passing on offense and run defense. Pass defense is mediocre and run offense is weak. I haven't had a chance to see how LSU will match up. Where are the purple tiger's strengths?

I really wish I could. But coaching the best damned group of eleven year olds to a city championship is not something to be taken lightly.
