I mean just because I'm a huge college football fan and don't really watch high school sports doesn't mean I don't support my high school. If they were playing in some national tournament at the highest classification of their sport hell yeah I would probably get into it some.

The quality may not be as good but they aren't mutually exlusive

man i feel bad for all these missouri fans being forced to participate in a college baseball thread.

You would think with Regionals heating up they might decide to take a break from the Rant and go post on some other boards.

I'd recommend they venture over to the Political Talk board and get into some agree/disagree discussions with Rex.

But I would argue that the Chiefs and the Rams are part of the reason we don't sell out more than we do in football.

If they moved it to another state i doubt it would be to the state of arkansas. Maybe Tulsa. Seems the drillers are at home too but i dont know if Tulsa has multiple options. Where does University of Tulsa play?

there are multiple options in Tulsa. I would be surprised if that were the route they took though. They would most likely want to stay in state.

I don't know if they just haven't said for sure and they are assuming because of conflict, but seems Arkansas thinks they would.

arkansas or tulsa would most likely be their best options. However, Tulsa just hosted the BIG12 tournament and has received a whole lot of rain over the last 4 weeks, so ...

This thread was partially derailed by Mizzou fan's not-so-hidden butthurt.

Missouri State has a better baseball program while Mizzou missed the tournament again. So they come in here like morons trashing college baseball when they just really hate how their team is irrelevant.

If Mizzou hires a coach who makes them a Top 25 program or better, they will come into the Rant with "WE HAZ BEST BASEBALL IN WORLD! GO MIZZOU AND CARDS! WE LOVE IT ALLLLL!"

What a coincidence...that's what the rest of the SEC thought about Missouri's pitching staff too!

I honestly don't care either way. It'll be close to home (finally) and we'll probably still outnumber them. We also seem to do better when we're not hosting.

I don't watch the CWS. I don't claim to be a college baseball fan. For whatever reason, Missouri folks just aren't college baseball fans. Even in the good years with Max Scherzer and Aaron Crow, we didn't have the attendance or following that other SEC schools give to college baseball. It is the way that it is.

Also, royals.

We have 2 pro teams, and multiple minor league/independent league teams. Higher quality product. Not enough fans to go around. college baseball takes a back seat to the MLB here.

All this proves is what everybody already knows about Missouri - you're not real college sports fans.

Wish I could of seen Ryan Howard when he was playing for coach Guttin.

You would have been more impressed with Jason Hart, Matt Cepicky, and Steve Hacker. Howie was a line drive hitter. We played at PCP then and ball did not travel well at all.

Pick and Hart hit moonshots and were amazing. Hacker was just a clutch guy.

That was when we could not find 3 starters at all, but still find ways to get in Regional Finals.

Fixed it for you.

Probably might be more accurate. Like I have said multiple times before, we just don't fit the culture.

College baseball just isn't our thing.
