On your old message boards I mean. Or is the Rant like discovering the pinnacle of college message boards?

Fun ain't it?

"Appreciate what we did for you!"

Even though it was Bama fans that caused this place to exist. Carry on.

There is no Big 12 board that I'm aware of, and if there is, it could never be like this.

The entire lot of posters would be banned.

This place is terrible during the offseason, but when the Scoreboard Board opens up, all is forgotten.

That's when this place becomes gold.

you ever been to tigerboard? Sending morse code signals on an abacus would be more enjoyable than reading that pile.

It is pretty great. I didn't care all that much about games versus Iowa State et al. But all the games here are golden. And the forum experience matches.

There were a few...but nothing like this.

No. There was the Big 8 and the SEC.

The XII was a 20 year coma from which we awakened to find ourselves sleeping with a super model.

I don't understand how the back-to-back East winner STILL is dissed for the alleged blue bloods.

I love our defecting Ruffian Zou brothers. They deserve more love.

dissed in what way?

Rankings? Blame the coaches and voters, not us.
Preseason teams? Blame the coaches and media, not us.

If you haven't noticed, this website represents probably 0.00000000000000000001% of actual IRL fanbases, so I wouldnt' put much stock into what you see here and extrapolate it to real life. Most IRL fans of east teams recognize what missouri has done.

I have to admit the Rant is awesome. Nothing else like it that I have seen/been on.

These newbies are having the time of their fricking life in the SEC.

I partied with a great group of Mizzou fans in ATL last year. They were funny as hell and we had a great time. They LOVE the SEC.

It's the middle of the road games that are better. We had Texas and OU and Nebraska so it's not like we didn't have big time programs. We also had a great history with Iowa State and Kansas and K-State. But Texas Tech and Baylor just seemed forced and nobody cared about Colorado football. But the middle of the road teams like Tennessee and Ole Miss are a lot more fun in the SEC.

Haven't been here for football season yet but so far I've had some LOL moments.

The Big 12 fans couldn't sniff the SEC fans' undies when it comes to being passionate about their programs.

Maybe OU and The Longhorns but that's about it.

I don't know why any one cares about that stuff before the end of the season. Right now it's strictly entertainment.

Agree though outside of Kentucky and Arkansas and I would say the exact opposite is true about basketball. Those big 8 teams would fill the arenas for basketball and even the quality teams in the SEC seem 1/2 empty.

I agree. Every SEC game has a big game feel to it from top to bottom. After 2005 I would look at Iowa St., Baylor (except 2011), Colorado, and Tech as automatic wins on the schedule. Whether or not they'd end up as an actual win was another story.
