Not an expert on all things Mizzou, but I thought y'all had a down year overall, no?

16 of 20 programs made it to post season and good fund raising is what he says made it a good year. Also, coaching hire and incoming class for basketball...

But other than that yeah basketball and football season sucked

Our Women's teams are actually tearing it up. Add in Wrestling, baseball having a better season, Basketball on the obvious rebound, and we're looking pretty good.

If we have a good Football season I'd call it a pretty great 2017.

To be honest, it's not like Mizzou has to win much for it to be one of their best years athletically

Well, Mizzou finished 33rd in the Learfield Directors Cup standings which was the best ever for the school. That was especially impressive considering Mizzou got nothing from the big 2 sports. Granted, it was still just 10th in the SEC ahead of only Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, & Vanderbilt.

Mizzou also raised more money last year through donations then they had in any previous year.

Football - who knows going forward, but basketball seems to be figured out. If the other sports can achieve similar success then yes, Mizzou should actually do even better in the overall standings.

It speaks to good health with the overall AD. Jim Sterk seems to be a pretty damn sharp guy so I think Mizzou's in very good hands and the issues that plagued us a couple of years ago will not happen under this AD or the other Mizzou administrators, who are all new since those events unfolded.

OK, I didn't know. My perception of Mizzou is that you always have good women's sports. Very tough to beat in Volleyball, Soccer and Softball. Those are 3 of the better sports at UF and Mizzou is never a pushover it seems.
