Florida and Missouri are both coming off a bye week going into this one. Drew Lock had the worst game of the season against LSU in his last game and Florida still has questions at QB and on the DL.

Can Missouri's defensive front rebound against Florida after getting shoved around by LSU?

Can Florida's DBs cover Missouri's WRs in an air raid attack?

It'll be an interesting matchup. I think this game comes down to the defensive lines on both sides of the ball:

-Florida will need to bow up and get pressure on Drew Lock. Before the LSU game, Missouri had only allowed one sack. Florida will need to get pressure or their DBs will be put under the spotlight.

-With Florida having questions at QB expect them to try to pound it with Jordan Scarlett. After Guice and Williams made Missouri look silly, I think they'll want to rebound with a solid performance. If Missouri can stop Florida's run game, they'll force Appleby or Del Rio to throw it around the yard with a shoddy offensive line protecting them.

I think this one is a toss up. Playing in the Swamp with Florida fans eager for a distraction will be a tough task for Missouri. I think the Tigers will need to take the air out of the ball and pound at Florida's front 7 to diminish their energy for pass rushing situations. Florida will need to do the same to beat Missouri.

Whoever runs the ball better will win. I predict a 24-13 game with the Gators being triumphant. Should be a fun game to watch.

I don't think either team has the personnel or depth to pull away in this one. I expect a close game.

There is nothing interesting about this matchup.

We are going to get destroyed.

to our Gator overlords.

Doesn't move around much at all. He may have some wheels but LSU certainly didn't see them. He trusts his OL too much.

Nah. The LSU game was an anomaly for Missouri. Y'all walked into a buzzsaw.

I've got Florida 28-14.

Mizzou is too young and not talented enough at the skill positions to win this game. We won't get separation on Florida's DBs with our WRs. And our running situation is an inexcusable mess between our mediocre run blocking and our indefensible personnel decisions.

On the defensive side, wiBO has taken a talented and promising group of defensive players and neutered them. I'm completely unimpressed by his plan for our defensive side and with Cross' execution of it.

I'm a little tired of hiring true sons. And wiBO hasn't done anything to dispel my anxiety.

We'll have to see how Florida comes out on offense. If they're a dumpster fire once again, Missouri could sneak out with a 4th quarter win.

Neither team can run the ball well.

It's hard to judge Florida right now. They have played a bunch of bad teams, and one good team but with the back up QB.

Del Rio is back. I expect Florida's offense to rebound from 6 bad quarters in a row with his return.

Florida won't bulldoze Missouri like LSU did, so their defense won't be exhausted late in the game.

It'll be close.

At the end of the day though, Missouri in 2 games on the road has only scored 18 points against P5 teams. That's 9 PPG. I doubt they do much better than that against Florida without some help from ST and defense.

I have it 19-12 Florida for right now.

Gotcha, I ask because it seems like recently we've had some trouble with mobile QBs (like Dobbs the past two years) and QBs that can connect deep (Coker, Michigan's QB). Which I think TAMU has a pretty legit D this year and they still got worked by UT worse than us even with the 7 turnovers so that makes me feel better about our bad 2nd half.

Our secondary is pretty aggressive and will come up if a QB scrambles or they'll bite on double moves trying to get the pick. At this point I feel like its a coaching thing considering we saw VH3 get burned over the top at least two or three times last year, Teez bit against UT, slipped and got burned, and Dawson has also been burned trying to guard the underneath throw.
