MSU could be - if Mullen stopped phoning it in. He's a great coach who hates the team, city, and state where he's coaching. He's only coaching MSU for the money. He wants to be anywhere but Starkvegas.

I didn't see that thread until after I made this one. I was just rewatching the game on tv cause I couldn't see everything from the stands.
I think our defense really shut them down. It wasn't until they brought in a qb that we hadn't game planned for that they had any success. You could clearly tell how talented they are when our defense was out of sorts.

Yes, we get it. LSU is really good and it was amazing they were able to hold on to that lead.

using your own logic as them losing to USA on a Fluke missed field goal.
Well they recovered a fluke onside kick and scored twice on very fluky drives there at the end.
I actually think yalls game is more telling to how mediocre LSU is than how "good" State is. the negatigahs have a reason to be melting

Mullen is a great player/qb developer, in fact, one of the best. A decent HC, but not quite remarkable. He lacks fire and is too soft with his approach to big games, which is critical for coaching in this league. He's a good coach for State, but lacks the characteristics of a hard arse.
