THIS is the biggest issue you have with an instate. Is it any coincidence that LSU and Arky are the least penalized in football? Nobody is watching them because they own the state. I can tell you for a fact both Bama and Auburn have folks dedicated to finding dirt on the other. Payments have been made to former players to snitch.
No, it isn't surprising at all to see State do this. Also, don't be surprised when you hear rumblings at State as Ole Miss will find something. In-state rivalry's are a dirty bidness but creates that extreme hatred that makes those rivalry week games what they are also.
