Enjoyed watching the UGA-Auburn game, and all the other upset games. It was weird having the Bama game finished earlier in the day, because I'm so used to watching Bama games that start in the afternoon/evening.

Hate to say it, but I'm afraid you're right. Much like the Dawgs have with the Gators, we have a mental block against Georgia for whatever reason.

It reminded me a lot of the '06 game. Top 10 ranking, rolling, facing a freshman quarterback.

All I can say is "good game". Y'all have our number.

I'm not terribly worried about UGA being great in the near future

But it was definitely a missed opportunity, and UGA frankly doesn't have to be very good to beat Auburn

for whatever reason.

If you look at the 10 year run it mirrors the rise of the strength of the SEC West. They catch us after playing a grueling division schedule while they benefit from a weak SEC East. Then to top it off we are looking to play bama still and they know all they have to do is get up one more time to beat us.

Respect though. That team could have quit but didn't and beat us straight.

Good lord Tigerman97, do you have anymore excuses in the bag?

You seriously think AU looking ahead to the Bama game has been a part of the reason y'all are 2-11?

What a dumb take. Auburn played grueling Vandy last week. Get out of here with this bullshite post.

Auburn had problems with Vandy last week at home, then they lose to a UGA team that Vandy beat in Athens. Injuries will set a team back, but some of that play calling and AUs inability to adjust at half time are a bigger issue than playing without Pettway. Jmho

They call this correlation. You are confusing that with causation.

We are kind of grueling, actually. We may not have the talent and depth, but our defense is well-coached and we have a bone-crusher at LB. Obviously upper-level (and presumptive upper-level) SEC teams shouldn't struggle with us on paper, but we do a good job of making teams fight for their points. Usually.
