So, my wife and I are coming up for the game. We are staying with family, and unfortunately they are Bulldog fans, but nevertheless we wanted to go sit and have a drink. We are early 30's and family coming out is a little older. So we really don't want to do the bulldog Bash.
What are some other places that would be good to go sit and have a drink at, but not the Bash?... I see on Google there is Mugshots.
We want to go have a great time and have some drinks... Just not outside. Your help is greatly appreciated!!

You are thinking along the right lines. Mugshots, Old Venice, Restaurant Tyler, Dawg House, etc.. won't be in the middle of Bulldog bash like the cotton district bars are. Personally, I'd go with Restaurant Tyler. They have an upstairs bar and a new speakeasy type bar in the alley that is a good spot with a little older crowd.

Yea, I saw that....also read they are supposed to have a killer brunch we plan on hitting up on Sunday before we head back!

There's a gas station down old Hwy 25 that has the best Corn dogs and cold, skeezy beer. You should hit that up then drive somewhere else and go frick yourself.

Ha-ha.... Yea, I knew that was coming. Posting on my cell phone while at work. Not exaclty paying attention to grammar, but I guess I asked for that one.
Don't worry buddy, I will bump this thread after we skull frick you in your own house like we have done for years. I am sure you will have excuses as to why we humiliated you on your Super Bowl weekend.
It will feel so great to make you go back to the shed in the woods you live in with your tail between your legs.
