Nigel Hayes was the only person who was keeping them in the game, and it took him until late in the 2nd half to run double teams at them. Wisconsin then started hitting shots. He also never ran a double team in the press. He had to speed the game up.

I hate watching teams that are clearly better than Wisconsin lose to them. They are like this every year. Louisville would destroy Wisconsin just because they'd force the pace.

Egbunu is a huge loss. Hayes is not very good.

Right...

John Brady went to the Sweet 16 twice...

Wisconsin wins with smoke and mirrors

John Brady made the Sweet 16 twice in 25 years of coaching.

Mike White has been at Florida two years (six overall), and made it this year.

The logic was he was good because he was in the Sweet 16

I agree. Wisconsin has one decent athlete. He kept them in the game.

White didn't run two at the ballhandler or Nigel Hayes all night.

You have to force the game to speed up versus Wisky

I dunno, I feel like making the Elite 8 is usually restricted to decent coaches or better.

Jury is still out on Mike White, but I think it's a little early to start crucifying him now.
