Mike Evans 68 Receptions 1051 yds 15.5 Avg 12 TDs.

ODB JR 91 Receptions 1305 yds 14.3 Avg 12 TDS

Misc Stats:
Vincent Jackson 70 Receptions! Leading Receivers after Jackson and Evans have 30-20 Receptions.

Ruben Randle 71 receptions! Larry Odonnell 63. Preston Parker 36.

QBs: Eli Manning 63.1 Comp % 30 TDs 14 Ints.

Josh Mcclown 56.3 Comp % 11 TDS 14 ints.
Glennon: Sucks just as much albeit 10 TDS 6 Ints.

What I take from this? Give Evans more targets and a better QB he would put up far better numbers than ODB Jr. The Main threat outside of Evans is only Vincent Jackson. And Jackson missed some time this season. While the Giants almost had two receivers eclipse Evans in receptions with a two time Superbowl Champ throwing passes to them. I'll ignore the running game aspect as both teams were pretty bad, although NYG had a feature back. Two runningbacks for NYG had more carries then Tampa's leading rusher.

Eye Test: 5-11 198 vs 6-5 Monster? Who is the better blocker in run support? Lol Better hands? Debatable but I would take Evans in any jump ball/posession situation.Strength? Evans. Speed and shiftiness goes to ODB. Route Running I'd give a slight edge to ODB.

Final Verdict: In my opinion Mike Evans is the better player only slightly. But theyre on the same level. But in terms of ROY it will be probably be due to Stats and media hype over that catch, that ODB will win it.

Its 3ammmm I must be lonel--drunk.

You really thought this response thread was a good idea?

ETA: Let me have the honor of giving you your first downvote before the LSU fans wake up to catch the short bus.

Take off your Aggot colored glasses., ODB and it's not even close. Your own stats prove it Einstein. Also ODB played in 4 less games.

Is that what that stat tells you?

It tells me your 6'5" monster can't get open enough to warrant more passes.

Just imagine if Beckham got to play against the Saints and Falcons four times.

Haha no shite.

So OP is saying if he had his choice in player he would take Evans over Beckham. Haha.

Route running is a massive edge to beckham. He's a better blocker too despite being much smaller. Evans can go get it and has nice wheels for a big guy. Evans and Beckham both look like they could be top 5 wrs soon if they stay on this path.

OBJ got shutdown by Cyrus Jones. 3 for 42 yards.

Mike Evans had 7 for 280 and a TD.

The only good point that was made was the YPG stat. Based on that list I'd still take 8-9 receivers over him including Evans.

He couldnt get open enough? Thats what it tells you!? /yawn

Mizzou fan telling me "never won anything with him" Granted you guys do have A&M's number, but you guys are the kings of choking football championships, so thats pretty rich coming from you guys. But making the championship game counts, so you got that going for you then. (Too lazy to edit meant *Conference championships)

Freshman Corner? Quit living in the past.

Saints and Falcons? Granted they are the shittiest D's in the league. Its pretty much a moot point as the entire NFC east is bottom half. Could even say close to bottom quarter.

I enjoy the classy LSU fan comments however.

Easy Money I totally agree.

We'll see in the coming years..... as one season does not make a player.

ODB missed four games this year and still had better stats than Evans.

Or he has VJax on the other side, who also warrants alot of passes....
