If Tennessee hadn't shite the bed against Florida, Dubose would have lost to Tennessee twice in the same season that year.

He handed the ball to Shaun Alexander and asked him to run behind Chris Samuels - almost exclusively - and then Freddie Millons went off. The D was decent.

They won those games b/c DuBose didn't get in the way.

You mean Shaun Alexander and a splendid offensive line won an SEC championship.

As has always been the case CSS has a tragic flaw. He will abandon the run when all logic points to sticking with it. In the first game Florida out rushed Bama but CSS abandoned the run and was dominated in the 4th quarter time of possession 11 minutes to 3. He never established the run in the title game.

Beat the everloving shite out of Florida in the SECCG, too. I was there. It was awesome.

I don't think I was ever more (wonderfully) shocked at how well a game was going until the USA was 3-0 up on Portugal 2 years later in the World Cup.

This would've been a great troll if you'd left the last paragraph out of it.

Does this mean Mike Dubose is better than these coaches...

Dubose also lost to La Tech at home that same year so go figure...probably more accurate to say Shaun Alexander and Freddie Milons won Bama the SEC that year...

Nothing to do with the program. Dubose is way ahead of all the guys listed.

In 2013 two east teams finished in the top 5, yet the east was down.

So...

Those teams weren't Tennessee, Georgia, or Florida so it had to have been down.

Anyone that is any good at all can win at Bama, Ohio State, USCw and Texas. I loved it tho when Dubose was the Gump coach. I wish yall would bring him back or that Shula kid when Nick implodes.
