Yeah...the 1999 season is a head scratcher of a season for most SEC fans, but especially Alabama fans. That '99 title game just came out of freaking nowhere. I think we held Florida to less than 150 yards the whole game. You only had one drive all game and that was your first one.

The SEC was really down that year.

So what you are saying was the rest of the SEC sucked?

That Bama team lost to LA Tech at home earlier in the year, too.

Doesn't Mike Dubose have vacated wins on his record while these coaches do not?

What does Bo have to say? He was 1-2 versus Alabama.

Bret has three Big 10 titles. So if Dubose only has one SEC title then that would be pretty much a wash I would guess, so they're even.

Shaun Alexander, Zow and Freddie Milons did all that. We could've won the SEC without a coaching staff that year.

I like how nobody will admit how great our program is. Lol. Gotta love the rant.

The short answer to your questions is, yes, Alabama's program is that good. Bama proved it could hire the equivalent of Goober Pyle as coach and still win the SEC. Impressive.

I think the fact that Mike Dubose and Mike Shula both had ten win seasons at Alabama proves that Alabama is the greatest CFB program of all-time.

Chris Samuels might have been the most important piece of the puzzle. That team had some incredible players.

If les miles wins back to back sec championship instead of nick saban doing it, Les miles will be considered a better coach.

Only alumni can claim it as "our program". Sidewalk fans are just trying to compensate for shortcomings in their lives and have tried to latch on to something else. Pathetic
