Wow, not one offensive player in the SEC until you get to #50 (Chad Kelly). That's after 14 defensive players ranked (those 11 listed in the OP plus Carl Lawson -33; Tre White - 43; Minkah Fitzpatrick - 48).

6 linebackers and only one running back have 5 stars?

The running back leading the country with over 1,100 yards in just 6 games is a 4 star at #34?

The running back officially leading the country in yards per carry is listed at #96?

What the freak does a running back have to do to earn 5 stars?

I'm having trouble finding preseason all-sec teammates Josh Dobbs and Jalen Hurd

Probably why the defensive players look so good.

I think it is more likely the converse of your theory. Quality of defensive guys probably holding the offensive players' ratings back a bit (that and pretty inexperienced, mediocre QB play).

I think that this will be shown in how this crop of SEC defenders (particularly front 7 guys) dominate the NFL draft and by their success at the next level. Some absolute beasts on that side of the ball.

Webb isn't one of the top 247 players in the country?

I agree Guice is better than Fournette. But both are top 10 backs in the SEC.
