Remember when the Big Ten, the Leaders and Legends of football ethics, vehemently opposed oversigning?

Maryland signed 29. These are the two largest classes in the top 40.

The hypocrisy of the Big Ten never ceases to astound me.

They're having to do anything they can to try and keep up with teams that sign 7 #1 classes in a row.

Then Harbaugh should invest in some car dealerships close by.

Michigan has over 30 seniors this year. That's why they signed 28 players. What's the big deal.

I believe the B10 was (rightfully) calling out the SEC for some of these absurd classes like when Ole Miss signed 37 in 2009.

it is the hypocrisy of it all. The little 10 and their commish have been bashing the SEC for over signing etc for years

They aren't oversigning if they lose 30 odd players and sign 28

Am I missing something

Are you just smokescreening for the fact that Bama signed 35 yesterday. That was per Saban interview yesterday... I assume that included the walkons and high ranked 4* greyshirts that got the rug pulled out from under them.

I thought the SEC had a big conference a few yrs ago about the immorality of oversigning.

Still 10 less than the average Tennessee class under Butch.

You can only enroll 25 in a given year. Oversigning means you have to find a way to cut your number of enrollees to 25 through a combination of signees failing to qualify, greyshirts, and/or convincing current players to leave the program.

That can't be right. If you lose 40 scholarship players you can't replace them?

That doesn't make a lick of sense

Can only sign 25 no matter how many you lose. The overages have to be worked out. I think back signing is off the table now.
