If Colorado wins Friday night, it is setting up for a Alabama vs Michigan semi-final game. I think everyone in the country outside of Washington and Tuscaloosa would love to see that game. Alabama would beat Washington by 4 scores. Go Buffs!

What makes you think Michigan is any good?

If Penn State wins, there may be two Big 10 teams in the CFP, but one of them will not be Michigan...

Penn State wins...

Alabama
Ohio State
Clemson
Penn State

The committee does not want a Bama vs MSU embarrassment again. Why have the committee if you are just going to put in conference champs? everyone with eyes knows Michigan is miles ahead of Penn State.

Top 4 stays the same if everyone wins.

I don't think there's any way that a team with two losses that did not win their division will be in the playoffs.

They lost two of their last three games including one to a 4 loss Iowa team. Their offense has been horrendous for over a month

Defensively Michigan can hang, offensively Michigan will be lucky to cross the 50

Exactly...And if Penn State wins the Big 10, there is no way you can include a team they beat head to head and not include Michigan and Ohio States division champion and conference champion.

In no way am I saying that I think Michigan would beat Alabama. Just want to watch a game where I am not 100% certain of the result before it even starts.

Yea it does. If we are just gonna cling to major conference champs then we'll have 5 (6 max if Notre Dame is good) to choose from in any given year. Hell if Clemson loses lets let the Big 12 champs jump 5 spots and have them in. It doesn't matter that they played the same number of games, had a weaker schedule, and a worse record than OSU. They should be in

I think you're right...but if Penn State were to trounce Wiscy, it's gonna be interesting to see the committee justify leaving out a conference champion that has a head-to-head win against a non-conference champ that's put in over them.

Don't get me wrong, I think OSU is one of the top 4 teams in the country, but considering all the talk of the committee putting emphasis on conference championships and head-to-head outcomes, it's gonna be interesting to hear their justification if that scenario plays out. I was watching the Fox Sports dudes doing their own play-off committee over the weekend and one guy (I think it was Tim Brando) asked an intriguing question...if PSU's and OSU's records/outcomes were reversed, would PSU be rated above OSU?

Why would anyone want to see the greatest coach in modern times with perhaps the most talent ever assembled go against a coach whose teams perrinially never win anything or even play for titles in college? Until proven otherwise Halfbaugh and his twits dont belong.

I think the Committee made a big statement last night with having OSU at 2 and Michigan at 5. I think they were saying no way the Big 10 Champ gets in (unless wisky or state just destory the other one). They took a lot of heat in 14 when they had TCU at 3 then dropped them to 6. I Don't think they will make that mistake again.
