Met Dave Neal last night

Decided to go out for a late night bite in Nashville at Prince's Hot Chicken, and I turned around and there was Dave Neal.
Long story short, we chatted for a good eight minutes, and he was as kind and gracious as a celeb could be. I told him I've always enjoyed his commentary, that I fondly remember waking up on Saturday and tuning into the JP/Lincoln Financial games, and he was really appreciative. I just really appreciate what he's done for this conference, these players, the fans, and collegiate sports in general. #GOAT

Dave Neal is an awesome guy. Used to run into him at Home Depot in Atlanta some (seriously, like 4 times, and I probably only went to that Home Depot 9-10 times total). He vaguely remembered me (or very nicely pretended to) each subsequent run in, and always seemed like he genuinely loved what he got to do for the SEC.
Great conference man for many years.

Met him at Memorial Gym one day. He is a nice guy. I was surprised at how short the guy is. Can't be more than 5'5".

Funny you say that, I saw Neal at Home Depot buying a Christmas tree one time and he had on an Ole Miss sweatshirt. I think maybe one of his kids goes/went to Ole Miss?
