I will not get into the in depth details of why this will be the case, as you likely do not have the information to understand at this point if I did. This is how I see the SEC playing out in 2011.

LSU 9-3 to 12-0 and will contend for the SEC Championship. Their game in Baton Rouge with Auburn will likely decide the SEC Championship.

Arkansas 8-5 to 10-2 and has an outside chance of getting in the SEC Championship picture.

Auburn 8-5 to 10-2 and will be the second best team in the SEC west by a wide margin. They could easily be the best team in the SEC with a little extra effort in fall camp.

Alabama 8-5 to 9-3, this is a team with a very solid defense and decent rushing attack, but has absolutely no explosion in the passing attack. The offense returns about five receiving touchdowns and 13 rushing touchdowns for the season and only lost three important skilled players. They will likely be out of the SEC race before conference game six.

Mississippi State is in for a rough year. They will be fortunate to make a bowl game

Mississippi will go another year without a bowl.
