Collin Sexton - Alabama
quote:

Sexton looks on track to be the most exciting backcourt player that Crimson Tide fans have seen since James "Hollywood" Robinson. Nobody could stay in front of him during the East's practice session and he seemingly scored at will. He also showed that he can create for others, and NBA guys loved his motor.

Michael Porter, Jr. - Missouri
quote:

For lack of a better description, the West practice was pretty sloppy at times. After somewhat of a slow start, the future Missouri Tiger got things going. He scored at the rim, he hit deep jumpers and he certainly caught the attention of the 50-plus NBA personnel seated along the baseline.

Sexton is an incredible athlete. Put on a show during the dunk contest.

People keep mentioning the SEC is stacking up on great coaches which is true, but the SEC is also bringing in a ton of elite players, something it hasn't done in awhile to go with the good-great coaches. Yes, LSU brought in Simmons but they had a terrible coach. Sexton and Petty with Avery Johnson and MPJ with Cuonzo Martin should be a lot of fun to watch next year.

We are also making a late play for Kevin Knox.

there are alot of fanbases that think they have a top 4-5 team in the league next year. We see that kind of optimism in football every year to the point of delusion so its good to see the same excitement over hoops. really the only fanbases that dont have any reason to be excited are ole miss and georgia.

How much did we have to pay Sexton? I didn't read my Red Elephant Club newsletter this month.

well lets hope his previously released top 3 he put out prior to the Tourney of South Carolina, Kansas, and Duke holds true. And he wants to stay home for his one year of school.

I think we get Knox. If we don't get Zion, hope you all do.

Alabama must be cheating! They haven't been relevant in years! Someone send the NCAA to their campus!

I'd be surprised if Knox doesn't end up at UNC or UK at this point.

Lol, it wasn't even that long ago Alabama pulled in the 8th ranked recruiting class under Grant.

Alabama has a former NBA coach of the year instead of Hugh Freeze.
